Crestron’s expansion of workplace range is biggest ever

Crestron has announced the largest expansion of the Crestron Digital Workplace portfolio to date, introducing three new products for hybrid meetings

The new products include two solutions for desk scheduling, a scaleable tabletop wireless microphone and speaker platform and an all-in-one collaboration bar for Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and BYOD meeting spaces.

Crestron says its ability to provide effective audio and video collaboration in every space with its broad product catalogue and powerful management tools stands in contrast to solutions which are cobbled together from multiple vendors.

“We aim to be the ultimate partner for organisations seeking complete room solutions, company-wide workplace platforms, or both,” said Brad Hintze, EVP of global marketing at Crestron. “Our goal is to provide a seamless and consistent experience across every room in the workplace, regardless of its size or function.”

The Crestron Desk Q and Crestron Desk Touch are new additions to Crestron’s line of scheduling solutions which extend the range to include desk scheduling.

The compact Desk Q with QR code reservations is said to be ideal for community workstations, hot desks and hotelling, while the Desk Touch with its elegant touch interface is ideal for semi-private offices, cubicles and even stand-up spaces.

Crestron Flex Pods are tabletop wireless audio solutions which are a new addition to the Crestron Flex line, providing a simplified way to add high-quality tabletop audio to meeting spaces.

Up to four Crestron Flex Pods can be connected to a Crestron Flex Pods Hub wireless receiver that is itself connected to the room UC device. Crestron Flex Pods can also be deployed as part of a Crestron Flex or AirMedia Wireless Collaboration Kit or standalone to seamlessly integrate with existing Crestron Flex C-Kits, AirMedia Receivers, or other BYOD solutions.

The Crestron Videobar 70 is an all-in-one Android collaboration bar designed for medium to large meeting rooms. The simple-to-deploy form factor includes built-in UC computing and intelligent features that capture participants vividly.

Four high-quality cameras work together to intelligently crop for the best image, ensuring the video captured is always a clear, well-framed view of the person speaking, even nine metres (30 feet) away.
