Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction and management of our network and security product portfolio, including product selection, vendor relationships, solution design, presentation, bill of materials (BOM) creation, stocking, and product marketing.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with technology principals and strategic partners, negotiating favourable terms and agreements to ensure access to the latest network and security products, technologies, and resources.
- Collaborate closely with customer and partner to understand customer requirements, design customized network and security solutions, and create compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate value propositions and drive sales.
- Present detailed bill of materials (BOM) for network and security solutions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Manage inventory and stocking of the products, optimizing stocking levels, forecasting demand, and coordinating with order management team to ensure timely availability of products and components.
- Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies, including collateral development, website content, case studies, webinars, and other promotional activities, to increase awareness, generate leads, and drive product adoption.
- Stay abreast of market trends, technology advancements, and competitive landscape in the networking and security industry, providing insights and recommendations for product focus and market positioning strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for our network and security product portfolio, providing product training, support, and guidance to internal teams, partners, and customers as needed.
- Lead and mentor a team of network and security professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture, and driving performance excellence.
- Act as a liaison between the team and upper management, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations on team performance, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Actively contribute to the growth and success of the company.
- Meet the principals and company sales target. Ensuring pipeline and forecast accuracy.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field or with more than 3 years of experience in product management, technical sales, or solution engineering roles within the networking and security industry, with a focus on network infrastructure and security products and solutions.
- Strong technical background and understanding of networking concepts, protocols, architectures, security principles, and technologies, with the ability to design and architect complex network and security solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully managing product portfolios, vendor relationships, and solution design activities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams, partners, and customers.
- Self-initiative, humble, continuous learning attitude and strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, identifying opportunities, and driving measurable business outcomes.
